OUR STORY
Our team is comprised of expert legal recruiters, former law firm lateral recruiting managers, and talent agency veterans. We understand professional services, white-glove service, and bespoke legal recruiting, and were uninspired by the highly-transactional, impersonal and rigid staffing models utilized by
mega-sized staffing firms.
Drawing upon our decades of experience, we are excited to bring a hands-on, customized and personalized approach back to legal recruiting. At OpusLex, which literally means “legal body of work,” our body of work includes finding the very best for each and every search.

Amanda is a Georgia native but fell in love with the talent representation business during her time in Los Angeles, where she had the opportunity to work for the prestigious United Talent Agency.

Jennifer Gotch joined OpusLex Partners as a Senior Consultant in 2018. For nearly a decade, Jennifer served as the lateral recruiting manager to an AmLaw 200 law firm in Atlanta.

Amanda Brandenburg
After deciding that she would not attend law school, Amanda transitioned her talent representation career from the west to the east coast, and left the entertainment industry for legal staffing and recruiting.
For over a decade, she was a top producer at two of the country’s largest legal staffing firms where she provided interim solutions and direct-hire placements to law firms and corporations throughout the country.
In 2018, Amanda founded OpusLex Partners to bring a hands-on, customized, and personalized approach back to legal recruiting. At OpusLex, which translates to “legal body of work,” our body of work includes finding the very best for every search.
Amanda is passionate about her work and enjoys the challenges and competitive nature. When she’s not sourcing top legal talent for her clients, you can find her spending time with her husband, their three children, and three rescue dogs at home in Atlanta. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Cassi McLemore
Cassi leads the recruiting efforts for OpusLex BizOps, a team dedicated to providing recruiting services for law firm business services and other legal operations roles. She is passionate about the future and business of law, and loves talking all things innovation, pricing, and project management with candidates.
Cassi has worked in some form of recruiting for her entire career, including Boston Consulting Group, Amazon, and is now on her second stint at OpusLex Partners.
Cassi is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia, a major Dawgs fan, and mom to an adorable pup, Leroy.
Christy Fiftal
Christy is responsible for the operations efforts at OpusLex Partners, providing service to our clients and candidates for our onboarding, payroll and billing efforts.
Christy is a supermom of four, has held every role with the PTA, and an all-around details guru. We couldn’t survive without her, and know how much our clients and candidates appreciate her friendly and consistent service. Christy is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
Sarah Smith, J.D.
Sarah joined OpusLex Partners in 2021 as an operations consultant and quickly fell in love with recruiting. As a Juris Doctor herself, Sarah has extensive knowledge of the legal industry. After studying international relations in undergrad, she attended law school with a focus on human rights and social justice.
In partnership with Cassi McLemore, Sarah recently launched our OpusLex BizOps division, a team dedicated to providing recruiting services for law firm business services and other legal operations roles. Within this team, Sarah leads our business development and client engagement efforts.
Prior to joining OpusLex Partners, she was a founding member of Red Wagon Ventures, Chick-fil-A’s first non-food innovation group where she helped develop, incubate, and launch their first new concept.
A passionate champion for changing the way women and families are treated in the U.S., Sarah also serves her community with the Junior League of Atlanta and is a former board member of United Way of Greater Atlanta. Additionally, she is a member of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2023.
Jennifer Gotch
After enjoying several years at home with her children, Jennifer returned to the legal recruiting business as a consultant with a boutique legal recruiting firm. She joined OpusLex Partners to provide a broader range of service offerings to her well-established client base.
Jennifer is an active member of the Atlanta community and a mother to two beautiful children. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
